PHYSIOTHERAPY CLINICS

Physiotherapy Clinic Owners: Session Packages and Therapist Pay

A patient comes after knee surgery, pays for ten sessions, and by the fourth she has started missing days. The therapist who liked her case is now seeing two walk-ins with sprains. The package money is already in the bank, but the follow-through and the next referral are slipping.

Our help covers package design, plan therapist time, set pay and incentive rules, and run the collections and review routines. We do not advise on treatment, exercises or recovery, and we make no claim about what physiotherapy can achieve. Your physiotherapists and the councils decide the clinical side.

COMMON CHALLENGES

The pressures
we often see.

OUR FOCUS AREAS

Where the work
usually starts.

START THIS WEEK

Things you can do
before you call anyone.

  1. Count every patient who bought a package in the last quarter and how many sessions they finished. Mark those who stopped early and phone five of them to ask politely why. You will learn more from five calls than from a survey.
  2. Look at your machines and write the number of times each was used last week. Anything below a single use a day should have a clear plan or be removed from the cost conversation.
  3. Hypothetical example: a 10-session package at ₹600 per session where the average patient attends 6 means ₹2,400 of work sold and not delivered. The money is held, but the goodwill is not.

A PRACTICAL ENGAGEMENT

Start with the priorities
that matter most.

We begin by understanding how your business runs today, find the gaps, and agree the scope in writing. Recommendations are shaped around your team, your resources and your goals.

  • A package and instalment design sheet that families can read in one sitting.
  • A therapist utilisation and pay review template.
  • A home visit pricing and routing sheet.
  • A referrer update routine with a letter format and a monthly call list.

Not the right fit when: An injury complaint, a quarrel between therapists over credit or a registration question needs your indemnity insurer, the council or a lawyer. Business work can follow.
