GRE AND GMAT COACHING INSTITUTES
GRE and GMAT Coaching: Faculty, Batch Size and Fee Cycle
Your top verbal faculty member is booked across three batches, and a student who paid in full wants to shift to a later date. The mock test platform renewal has just arrived, and the quant batch for the evening has only four takers.
We help you plan faculty load, batch size and refund rules, and work out what each batch earns after mock-test and material costs. Our advice covers running the centre. We do not teach, guarantee scores or advise on admissions.
Discuss your priorities ↗COMMON CHALLENGES
The pressures
we often see.
- 01Students pick the institute for one or two faculty members, so a single resignation can empty a batch and make a refund conversation unavoidable.
- 02Test dates shift for individual students, and the institute has no clear rule on batch changes, so each request becomes a private negotiation with the owner.
- 03Mock-test subscriptions, printed material and question-bank licences are renewed on different dates, and the owner sees their true cost only when the bill lands.
- 04Fee is taken in a lump sum or in unplanned parts, and refund claims after the first class create disputes because the policy was never written.
- 05Evening and weekend batches overlap with faculty who also work elsewhere, so cancellations come at short notice.
OUR FOCUS AREAS
Where the work
usually starts.
- 01Faculty hours per week against batches taught, and who covers when one is absent
- 02Batch strength against a minimum viable size for quant and verbal sections
- 03Mock-test and question-bank cost per student per batch
- 04Written refund and batch-change policy with dates the student agrees to
- 05Instalment schedule tied to course milestones
- 06Student attendance and mock-test participation tracked each week
- 07Faculty contracts with notice period and handover of material
- 08Enquiry follow-up routine with dates set around the student's exam window

Things you can do
before you call anyone.
- Collect your three most recent refund or batch-change requests and write down how each was settled. If the answers differ, write one rule and share it with the desk.
- Hypothetical example: eight students paying ₹25,000 earn ₹2,00,000. If faculty, mock tests and material cost ₹1,60,000, the margin is thin enough that one dropout changes the result.
- List every software and material renewal due this year with the date and amount. Put the dates on the wall calendar.
A PRACTICAL ENGAGEMENT
Start with the priorities
that matter most.
We begin by understanding how your business runs today, find the gaps, and agree the scope in writing. Recommendations are shaped around your team, your resources and your goals.
- A batch economics sheet showing fee, faculty cost and mock-test cost
- A written refund and batch-change policy in plain language
- A faculty cover plan and notice terms for every section
- A weekly student-participation review for the coordinator
Not the right fit when: Wait if a consumer dispute or a complaint over score claims already open. That needs a qualified legal adviser before any new routine.
